Global buyers — from Europe, the US, Latin America, Southeast Asia — are sourcing products, inspecting vehicles, and verifying suppliers in China every day. But they can't be there in person. They need someone they can trust on the ground.
That's where you come in. If you're based in Guangzhou, Shanghai, or Shenzhen, you already have what international buyers are desperate for: physical presence, local knowledge, and the ability to show up.
BorderFlow is the trust bridge. We vet and onboard local helpers like you, match you with buyer requests, give you a clear standardised brief for every task, and make sure you get paid via our escrow system — guaranteed, before you even start the job.

A buyer in Bolivia wants to purchase 5 BYD Han EVs from a Shanghai dealer. They need someone to visit the showroom, verify VINs and specs, check for damage, and record a video walkthrough.

The international buyer deposits the full task fee with us before anything starts. The money is held in escrow — neither side can touch it yet.
You receive a standardised brief with the location, checklist, deliverables, and deadline. You confirm you can take the task. At this point, your payment is already locked in escrow.
You visit the location, complete the checklist, take photos/video, and submit your report through our simple submission format — WeChat, email, or our form.
Once we confirm your deliverables meet the brief, payment is released from escrow to you within 48 hours — via bank transfer, WeChat Pay, or Alipay. No chasing invoices. No waiting.
What if the client disputes the deliverables?
BorderFlow mediates. If you completed the brief as specified, you get paid — even if the client is unhappy with what they found. The escrow protects you, not just the buyer.
You live in or near Guangzhou, Shanghai, or Shenzhen. You can reach factories, showrooms, and ports without significant travel time. Dongguan, Foshan, and Zhuhai also work for Guangdong-based tasks.
Your reports go to international buyers. English doesn't need to be perfect — but it needs to be clear enough that a buyer in Germany or the US can understand your findings without ambiguity. WeChat translation is fine for quick coordination; reports must be in English.
The job is mostly: show up, follow a checklist, take good photos, write honest notes. You don't need a background in trade or logistics — you need to be methodical, thorough, and honest. If something looks wrong, you say so.
When you accept a task, you complete it. Buyers are often on tight deadlines and time zones away — they're counting on you to show up on time and deliver as briefed. Reliability is the single most important trait we look for.
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, foreign trade, sourcing, or logistics is highly valued and will get you higher-complexity tasks. But if you're a motivated self-starter with good observation skills and English, we'll train you on the rest.

No. We provide a standardised checklist and brief for every task. What you need is the ability to follow instructions carefully, take clear photos, write honest observations, and show up on time. Industry experience is a bonus for higher-complexity tasks, not a barrier to entry.
At launch it will be 2–5 tasks per month per city. As we grow the buyer side, task volume increases. High-performing helpers get priority assignment. There's no guaranteed minimum — this is a flexible, on-demand arrangement.
Contact us as early as possible. We'll reassign if we can. Consistent cancellations after acceptance will affect your standing in the network — reliability is how you build your reputation here. But life happens, and we're reasonable about it if you communicate promptly.
Before you start a task, the buyer has already deposited the full fee with BorderFlow. Once you submit your deliverables and we confirm they meet the brief, we release your payment within 48 hours via bank transfer, WeChat Pay, or Alipay. You're never doing unpaid work.
Absolutely. This is designed to be flexible. Tasks are typically half-day commitments. You choose which tasks to accept based on your availability. Many helpers will treat this as supplemental income alongside other work.
English for your written reports — they go directly to international buyers. We'll give you templates to help structure your reports. For coordination with us, WeChat in Chinese is fine. For factory visits, Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset. You won't be expected to communicate directly with the international buyer in real time.
